The What What...

I had a hard time thinking of what to call these sessions, and to be honest, I'm still not totally convinced as I would like to have a more inclusive word that umbrellas everyone, both individually and together. Basically anyone who would like a more stylized session with some lovely final products -- see below -- for themselves or to give as a gift.

An 8x8 custom hardcover book, 4x6 prints of the final photographs in a red velvet keepsake box and a USB drive.

While I struggle for the right wording, the concept, the feeling I have about these photo sessions can be best described in a word I stumbled onto awhile back.

There is a metaphysical concept in the Spanish culture and the word used to represent it is Querencia.

The general definition/concept is a meaning of home, a safe space where one can be themselves

The place from where one can draw strength and be their most authentic self.

These photo sessions are for you and about you! In whatever way you'd like to be represented in these photographs .I am so looking forward to making theses images with you whether it be in a natural setting outside, at your home, or a combination of the two. My background as an art photographer specifically photographing people and working with them to produce photographs that represent them, empower them, in a seductive, enchanting, glamorous, or whatever way that is.

To assist in the more styled look of these shoots, I have a list of recommendations for clothing I can share and also have a few props of my own available for use. I am so excited about these new sessions and can't wait to work with you!
